Chalmette Battlefield site of the Battle of New Orleans (War of 1812)


The British flags marks the spot from which the British army advance on Andrew Jackson's American troops.



New parks service building with displays and videos that tell the tale of the Battle of New Orleans. Where over 2,000 British soldiers were either killed or captured while only 20 American lives were lost.

    We were there last year and the buildings were still damaged, we will be at Camp Restore the first week of April. Looking forward to it. Hope you have as great of an experiance as we did last March.
